  1. Hey M, S & K,
We’re back (use the Amityville voice).
Just wanted to apologize for having gotten so far behind in our post commenting. We’ve read all of your posts that we had been delinquent on. There were 4 or 5 that we couldn’t leave comments on because we were beyond the commenting period.
Dad says that it took Homer J. almost a year to completely re-emerge from his protective shelter shell. It also took Sophie 9 or 10 months to “adjust” to her new situation even though she came directly from her previous home and did have any shelter time. Radar adapted immediately but he was just 5 months old. Obviously the dog’s age and experiences have affected each dog differently. But it’s amazing to watch and participate in the re-emrgence as they become comfortable, confident and trusting in their new home situation. As we read through all of the blogs of our DWB buddies, we feel fortunate to have even a internet relationship with such wonderful people throughout the world. We’re all blogger without borders. We love y’all.

  2. Don’t sweat it Kona, Radar’s teeth are way worse than yours. His bite is way off too. Mom has some big vet tech word for it that she learned in school. That Kona is one handsome dude (is that LA talk?).
